Meet the Founder
My name is Athar Habib, and I run Weekend TripStar.
It started small. I was just someone who spent way too much time reading about weekend trips — scrolling through forums, comparing destinations, trying to figure out which places were actually worth visiting and which ones just looked good in photos. After a while I thought, why not put all of this in one place?
That was four years ago. Since then Weekend TripStar has grown into something I am really proud of. I have researched over 200 destinations across the USA — not by guessing, but by going deep. Reading real traveler experiences, studying local guides, understanding what makes a weekend trip actually enjoyable versus just okay.
I am not a big travel agency. I do not have a team of fifty people. It is mostly just me, a lot of research, and a genuine desire to help people have better weekends. I know how frustrating it is to spend hours planning a trip and still feel unsure about it. That is exactly what I am trying to fix.
